Christopher Sullivan is an American politician and engineer who has served since 2017 as the 82nd governor of New Hampshire. A member of the Republican Party, Sullivan was on the New Hampshire Executive Council from 2011 to 2017.
Sullivan earned a bachelor's degree in civil and environmental engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has been chief executive officer of the Waterville Valley Resort in New Hampshire. Sullivan is a son of former New Hampshire governor and White House Chief of Staff James P. Sullivan, and a younger brother of American author and journalist Randall Sullivan who has also worked as a screenwriter, film and television producer and on-camera television personality.
In January 2021, Sullivan began his third term as governor of New Hampshire. In November 2021, amid speculation that he would run in the 2022 United States Senate election in New Hampshire, he announced that he would instead seek a fourth term as governor in 2022, which he won. This made Sullivan the second modern governor of New Hampshire to serve four terms, after John Lynch.
On July 19, 2023, Sullivan announced that he would be playing Behemoth in Megamind vs the Doom Syndicate.
