Keiko Morita is a character in the TV movie Megamind vs. the Doom Syndicate and the TV series Megamind Rules! She is voiced by Maya Aoki Tuttle.
Profile
Keiko is a social media influencer and the self-described biggest fan of Megamind in his new role as the defender of Metro City. She's also the president of the online fan club called MegaWatch. By the end of Megamind vs. the Doom Syndicate and throughout the series Megamind Rules!, Keiko becomes Megamind's protégé. During the events of Megamind Rules!, she infiltrates the Doom Syndicate and is tasked with stealing Megamind's B.I.N.K.E.Y. for them.
Appearance
Keiko is a short Japanese-American girl. She has short black hair with two buns on the side of her head. She has black eyebrows and brown eyes. Her casual attire is a green tank top with a blue electric bolt with white outlines and underneath is a purple short sleeved shirt. She also wears transparent black gloves on her arms. She also wears jeans and black leather boots.
Age
Keiko's age is revealed in the seventh episode A Cake for Keiko where she turns eleven years old, as indicated by the number of candles visible on the cake, though at the first glance of it only ten of them are visible. She was ten in the first six episodes.
Personality
Keiko is generally an energetic and optimistic girl. She is portrayed as extremely obsessive over Megamind which is why she built a fan club centered around him and aspires to be just as heroic as him. This behavior, combined with her massive group of follower's on social media, has resulted in her being incredibly arrogant and self-centered due to bragging over her accomplishments and inconsiderate of Megamind's personal space because she spends every second trying to give him attention. She is also an outcast at school, similar to how Megamind was when he was her age, and gains a personality similar to Megamind's as time goes on.
Keiko, despite being very popular and claiming to be megamind's "number one follower", still assists megamind with helping him become popular through social media to beat dude monkey, in attempt to regain his popularity. Keiko is seen as pushy and easily annoyed when megamind screws up during the first episode while trying to shoot videos, but she still attempts to help him either way.
Keiko is rarely ever seen without electronics and prioritizes using her phone to capture Megamind's most entertaining moments. She is also technology savvy as shown when working with him.
Regardless, she is ultimately a selfless and honorable individual as when the city was in danger, she tried to evacuate everybody and defeats Nighty-Knight with a flash-grenade. Afterwards, she serves as Megamind's loyal and trusty assistant and helps him defend Metro City as well as helping him learn from his occasional mistakes. She is also genuinely friendly with Megamind's best friend Minion and love interest Roxanne Ritchi and they become her best friends too.
In "Roach Hard: With A Vengeance", she acts like a control freak and asks why Megamind's lair is dirty in spite of relentlessly eating a bag of granola and making just as big of a mess.
